GLEN RAVEN MILLS SUNBRELLA fabric is the standard for the industry. They were established in 1880 and make the only outdoor fabric we recommend. Fade resistant, rain resistant, stain resistant... Most of our customers get at least 7 years of wear - - rain or shine. Acrylic fabric is the key. Other manufacturers make acrylic fabrics, yet we've seen numerous Non-Sunbrella cushions fall apart in less than 3 years. Bottom line is... If you find a Sunbrella fabric you like, use it. Moreover, availability frequently becomes a problem on other brands of acrylic fabric.

Most utility patio furniture is supplied with "polyspun" fabric. Polyspun (non-acrylic) fabric fades, deteriorates, is not waterproof & generally "falls apart" within 2 years. WE WON'T USE IT.
